A Boat Trip on José Baptista

A fun way to discover the coast of the Algarve is to charter a private boat. Together with local fisherman Saun you can get 3 hours of sailing along the coast, fishing on the boat Jose Baptista. Head through the caves or more off at 1 of the private beaches along the coast. For one day it's your day so you too choice! We use this boat often when larger groups of diving.

Amazing grottos and coastal rock formations, which are only visible from a boat. The trip usually starts at 10am and goes from Albufeira Marina to the lighthouse at Carvoeiro and back at 1pm, but you can go as far as Ferragudo, if you wish. Earlier times may be available.

Children may have to wear life Jackets (supplied). All full safety requirements on board. (Saul is one of the top Algarve Boating Licence Examiners, so you can be confident that it is absolutely secure!)

We have used this boat since 2006 for diving with a very experienced Captain - Saúl that knows every dive site very well for bigger groups, with a inside cabin, toilet and spacious for diving with easy Giant stride entry and a big ladder for easy exiting of the water ☺
