This year we have been working with Project Aware and monitoring this one site and cleaning monthly, giving reports to Project Aware so they are able to build statistics up of how pollution, over fishing and trash is changing. This is a worldwide campaign and we hope to do more sites next year and make a difference.
Beach Clean Up Day - Albufeira – We cleaned up a reef "Artificial Reef – Large Blocks"
Participants: 6 divers.
Due to a change of ownership and reconfiguration of the dive centre we were unable to undertake any one-day sessions to promote Project Aware but Indigo Divers provides ongoing support on a daily basis by collecting any fishing nets, traps or rubbish found during our dives.
Beach Clean Up Day - Carvoeiro – We cleaned up “Praia do Pintadinho”: subaquático & praia / Cliff.
Participants: 10 divers e surface help.
Beach Clean Up Day - Albufeira – We cleaned up a reef "A Pedra da Oura" and Praia da Oura.
Participants: 13 divers and surface help.
Beach Clean Up Day - Albufeira – Praia da Coelha over the cliffs to Praia do Castelo then onto Praia do Evaristo.
Participants: 10 persons.

Participants: 13 Divers and a group of 60 Boys Scouts.
