This year we have been working with Project Aware and monitoring this one site and cleaning monthly, giving reports to Project Aware so they are able to build statistics up of how pollution, over fishing and trash is changing. This is a worldwide campaign and we hope to do more sites next year and make a difference.

Beach Clean Up Day - Albufeira – We cleaned up a reef "Artificial Reef – Large Blocks"

Participants: 6 divers.

Due to changing of owners and setup at the dive centre we didn´t do a single one day Project Aware but on many dives during the year like we normally do, we collected any fishing nets, traps and rubbish during the general daily dives.

Beach Clean Up Day - Carvoeiro – We cleaned up “Praia do Pintadinho”: subaquático & praia / Cliff.

Participants: 10 divers e surface help.

Beach Clean Up Day - Albufeira – We cleaned up a reef "A Pedra da Oura" and Praia da Oura.

Participants: 13 divers and surface help.

Beach Clean Up Day - Albufeira – Praia da Coelha over the cliffs to Praia do Castelo then onto Praia do Evaristo.

Participants: 10 persons.

Beach Clean Up Day - Albufeira Marina – Reef “A Pedra do Alto” 17 meters in front of Albufeira.

Participants: 13 Divers and a group of 60 Boys Scouts.
